True, but I was talking about this Frozen:

Fuck you. Fuck you, you fucking fuck! I'm watching this right now, and it is fucking me up.
I really disliked the characters in this film - they all seemed to make horrible choices
oh its one of those.

I refuse to watch The Exorcist. I truly believe that if I watch I'll never be able to sleep ever again. It doesn't help that my dad claims that movie triggered his baldness.

My mum recorded this for me accidentally when I was in primary school - I don't know what she thought it was....maybe some christian movie or something, anyway - back then I didn't get it, so I just found it to be boring. It wasn't until many years later that I realised just how scary this movie is

I don't know if this was quality horror or just torture porn.

And two bad choices kept pulling me out of the movie.
Spoiler: show
Why didn't they EVER zip their coats up all the way to cover themselves better?

And why didn't they try tying their coats, pants, and shirts together to get closer to the ground? Each person's clothes would have given them 6-9 feet of length. They'd be better off heading to the ski cabin in boots and underwear than freezing to death or breaking their bones.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Ha. This happened to me. I worked at a ski resort growing up. We got stuck when we were on way to the top in the morning. A safety tripped at the top when no one was there yet. We sat for about half hour right over a gun. If this happened at close rather than opening we would have been screwed.

Same here, actually I tried to sleep on the couch because my dog slept there but still kept thinking about those poor people lost in the woods

BurtReynolds wrote:When I was little I watched Temple of Doom, but when it got to the part where the bad guy rips that dude's heart out, my mom told me to cover my eyes. So I did. All I could hear was the guy screaming and the bad guys chanting. For years afterwords, I watched Temple of Doom often, but never watched that part. By my teens I had built up this scene as the most brutal, repulsive thing ever filmed. Just the idea of this evil monster slowly driving his hand into that poor bastard's heart and then lowering his somehow still breathing body into a lava pit was just too much.

Then in my twenties I finally decided to watch it. What I saw was a hand reaching into a jelly-filled paper mache dummy. It was hilarious and utterly disappointing at the same time.

Moral: You'll never film something as scary as the audience's imagination.

I fucking LOVE Ravenous. And I agree that it's "creepy," and also quite funny. But I'd never call it "scary," per se. Maybe if I were younger.
Yeah that's one of my favorites. I listen to the soundtrack all the time.
