Without wood, there would have been no ashes for Pearl Jam to rise from.Monkey_Driven wrote:PHATJ wrote:Simple Torture wrote:Andy Wood has gotten a lot of mileage (years after his death) out of the fact that he was friends with much better musicians.zeb wrote:I don't get the love for Andy Wood's musical stylings at all.![]()

I don't know about all that. But Slippery When Wet, New Jersey, The Young Guns 2 soundtrack and Keep the Faith (more or less) are fucking amazing.BurtReynolds wrote:His later country music shit is pretty bad, though.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:it's really close, but i think i slightly lean toward the seconddurdencommatyler wrote:Which is your favorite album?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:me toodurdencommatyler wrote:I very much enjoy Bon Jovi.

Was that Jon Bon Jovi, or Bon Jovi the band?BurtReynolds wrote:His later country music shit is pretty bad, though.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:it's really close, but i think i slightly lean toward the seconddurdencommatyler wrote:Which is your favorite album?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:me toodurdencommatyler wrote:I very much enjoy Bon Jovi.

Re: Unpopular Music Opinions
I'm sure it was JBJ solo. Though, Richie probably played on a fair amount of that stuff, too. So, basically the band.theplatypus wrote:Was that Jon Bon Jovi, or Bon Jovi the band?BurtReynolds wrote:His later country music shit is pretty bad, though.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:it's really close, but i think i slightly lean toward the seconddurdencommatyler wrote:Which is your favorite album?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:me toodurdencommatyler wrote:I very much enjoy Bon Jovi.

Maybe he meant Tupac as better replay value, not that Biggie has none.Orpheus wrote:Biggie has no replay value? Really?melonhead4 wrote:Tupac>Biggie for one simple reason.. The Replacements have got to be one of the most difficult bands to get into posthumously.
The albums with good songs have shitty production, and the albums with decent production have (mostly) shitty songs. Fatal combo.
