It's interesting that the "deplorable" comment didn't come up with Trump/Clinton but came up here. Kaine/Clinton have got to come up with a better defense than just "she apologized"--maybe make the point that, "If you are racist, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, or whatever, you are deplorable. Perhaps she overestimated the number, but we stand by that word for anyone who looks at another person and sees them as lesser just because of who they are." Does that make sense?

If he was in the military he would receive an article 15 for being out of uniform and not displaying his ribbons correctly

Let's get real morbid: what about a terrorist attack on election day? If you were sympathetic to ISIS and trying to spread fear and undermine the day-to-day business of the US, trying to break up the electoral process would be a great way to do it. Why not head over to your local polling place at 8:00AM when there's a long line right before people go to work? There's usually only one cop there (side note: I'd make a great terrorist).
