Christ. That might be the hardest I've ever worked when agreeing with someone from that start.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The first time I saw Psycho it was like 2am and pissing rain outside. I was scared shitless. Can't remember how old, I think in high school.
Coming in at a very close second was The Ring.

It's my favorite scary movie and it scared the crap out of me as a kid.durdencommatyler wrote:Yeah, The Omen is terrifying, especially when you're younger and seeing it for the first time. It isn't as scary to me now that I'm older and seen it a few dozen times. But it's still a great movie and the sense memory of how scary it used to be still gets to me and I get tense watching it.

I loved it but I didn't find it scary at all.

James Wan knows how to get me. But I definitely thought the first Conjuring was much scarier.

I had a really hard with the casting of Ron Livingston. I dig him but just hard to take him seriously in a horror movie.LoathedVermin72 wrote:James Wan knows how to get me. But I definitely thought the first Conjuring was much scarier.
