that brings back memories of RM a couple of months ago.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:BurtReynolds wrote:As I'm sure you are aware, I've been listening to a lot of 80s pop hits, and I'm kinda freaked out about the memories they are digging up. I'm not talking about vague nostalgia, but actual memories that I haven't experienced in decades. Random stuff: like going to the grocery store with my mom when I was like 6 or looking out of a window of our first house. Just little clips of things. It's very freaky. I wonder what else is buried in the ole noggin.

The lead single is really terrible. They've only gotten worse and worse. Warning was their last half-decent album... and that was 16 years ago

You know that you are dealing with a classic rock purist douche when they cite "The Monkees" as the "worst" 60's band they can think of, and then make a lame "rap is crap" joke. I'm surprised he didn't mention Yoko Ono. Then it would have been a complete trifecta.theplatypus wrote:Grumpy classic rock purist dudes are the worst

I agree. It is a good album and it was a good time for music overall. Sugar Ray was in their prime and Limp Bizkit was about to release Chocolate Starfish and The Hotdog Flavored Water.bune wrote:Warning was great, it was them finally opening up to being The Who.theplatypus wrote:The lead single is really terrible.
