My best friend's dad made us a cassette circa 1992 that had the first album on one side and "Songs Of Love & Hate" on the other, so to me they will always be a pair made in heaven. None of the others, as good as they are, come close for me.

damn good year for music...HLAL, 22, Schmilco, Jayhawks, even the new Nada Surf is pretty good.

I had forgotten what a killer chorus this song has until I heard it on a 2000 boot. I also love how it goes onto the hi-hats in the chorus too.
