okay. that was the trailer I was waiting for. That was incredible.

it's a trailer so we'll see how it's sustained but that seems like the most visually striking imagery we've seen in a star wars film.


Also, I hope I fall in love with all these characters and they kill every one off.

this also really highlights the power of the star wars mythology and the richness of the universe. There's no need to explain what the Empire is, why it's evil, what the Rebellion is. It does a great job exploiting the preloaded stakes.

I just cringed at the dialogue, and some other audio seemed a bit off. Watched again and enjoyed it a little more. Some nice visuals.
