This looks unreal. This will be the best film of the year.

I hope it is so good that I turn into dime and buy every director's cut, extended cut, special edition, limited edition that comes out.

This is going to be the movie that finally turns me into an actual Star Wars nerd. It's going to be so breathtaking and amazing that I won't be able to watch any other Star Wars film without comparing them to this one. And I'll buy all the books and the comics and I'll buy a house just to have a Star Was: Rogue One themed room.

The trailer has a few moments where you think, "This is the scene right before this person kicks it." so I'm looking at it as ending on a very down note as far as survivors go.

my one worry is that he doesn't have a great reputation as an actors/character director. I suspect that's what most of the reshoots were about. Hopefully that doesn't drag the spectacular visuals down. Or that they just got it right. Say what you want about JJ Abrams, but he is great at casting and eliciting strong performances from his actors.

What movies have you seen of his, stip?

just godzilla, I think. But the characters in that were pretty weak, and none of the ones in Rogue One look like much based on what we've seen so far. It's just that everything surrounding them looks incredible.

But that's probably why an actors director/writer were brought in for reshoots. Let someone else do the character stuff and leave him with what he's best at.

Of course, the characters could be great too, we'll see.
