I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. That's great. It's also a good example of the kind of sketch SNL hasnt been capable of for decades: a very good, quiet, sketch that never goes over-the-top.

I thought Miranda did a great job as host and was obviously having a blast while doing so. Broadway stars tend have a "let's put on a show!" enthusiasm and performing live in front of an audience is more natural to them than your given film or tv personality. Plus it helps if you're crazy talented.

I watched last season's Amy Schumer episode and I thought it was really strong. Laughed out loud a lot.

Those Bruno Mars songs were totally derivative but I really liked them. He's a great performer.

Yeah, there were some really low lows. But I liked the majority of this past episode.
