Pearl Jam have had five drummers, but only current drummer Matt Cameron and founding member Dave Krusen will be inducted should they make it in.

Hmm, is a Pearl Jam without VS, Vitalogy, No Code and Yield a HoF-worthy band?

Pearl Jam is Hall worthy with Ten AND Vs. AND live band reputation AND they have a singer who speaks about social issues

I'm guessing PJ, Janet Jackson, Yes, and ELO maybe Tupac

Who would it have been under the old rules? Just Matt Cameron?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I can't believe anyone is surprised or upset by this. Didn't we all see this coming?

I am not surprised Dave A. isn't getting inducted.

I am surprised that Dave Krusen is.

I have no feelings about the drummer inclusions/exclusions. Matt's been with the band for 18 years.

To my mind this isn't far off Bob Welch getting snubbed when Fleetwood Mac were inducted.

But whatever. The process isn't fair or reasonable, I get it.

Is the Hall's rule founding and current members only or something? Is there a minimum tenure? Does the band have input? I can see why they would want to keep it from getting out of control. Look at bands like Chicago who have something like 20 current and former members.

In the past it's been founding members + members of the "classic" lineup (I guess meaning the most popular and recognizable lineup), hence why Marky and Tommy were inducted with the Ramones but CJ and Richie weren't.
