If I start driving, I could be there by Sat. Save a ribeye for me.

We're grilling steaks. I don't want to impose and do the grilling, so in all certainty my steak will be incredibly overcooked.

I was actually asked to grill the steaks. Some very nice strip steaks. Mine was cooked perfectly. I was very worried about everyone else's, tho. They all wanted medium temperatures, but our host insisted I use a meat thermometer, so I did. The fucking thing only went up to 140°. I cut into one and it looked very well done. Deflated, I went ahead and took them off and cooked mine to a perfect med rare. To my surprise, after all the other steaks rested for a bit, they came out an ice medium. There were a couple med wells, but a couple of them like them that so it worked out pretty well.

I also found some yellow, orange and red bell peppers that I threw on the grill, too. I kinda kept them to myself, tho. They were fantastic.
