Such a beautiful shot!! Menacing? Threatening?

Absolutely not
Yeah but if you know that big thing can blow up your planet, it is menacing.

Regarding the statue: anyone watch it on a bigger screen? You can see a small ship flying over it, and man it sure does look more like a mountain range than a statue. Why would the jedi build a statue of themselves as big as a mountain? Maybe Snoke is in this.

No, just maybe more of a sculpture, sculpted out of rock already there, instead of a statue that freaking big.

I was half joking when I asked did the force carve that mountain with the wiind?

Sort of goes against Jedi philosophy to make statues to themselves. Unless they always had a church of the force but that's unlikely as that seems to only have emerged after they disappeared /were wiped out.

Maybe we see that star destroyer boast it and knock it over?

Somehow I don't think that'll be a problem.

They're making that the new Disney logo. Yoda instead of tinkerbell and the imperial theme replacing the wish upon a star music. (Which are actually similar except different keys)

Rogue ones run time is officially 2 hours and 13 minutes. That's good.

So rogue one is being released in the UK&Ireland a day before the US and in certain European countries a day before that again. Strange move.

Really? It's fairly typical for big tentpoles to come out down here a few days earlier than in the states.
