But not many people have been pondering: could Trump run for President again in 2020? It's not a very difficult scenario to imagine: if Clinton gets elected and (a) the economy either flat lines, slightly recedes, or goes into a deep recession; (b) there's a terrorist attack (or a series of them) carried out by a Syrian refugee; (c) Hillary's choice(s) to fill the Supreme Court start to be the deciding votes in cases that might drive his base mad, and then another justice dies or retires in 2019; or (d) there actually are voting irregularities, even if they're not enough to swing the election one way or another...couldn't you see Trump running on a platform of "I told you so!" in 2020? He's obviously got a floor or 35%-39% of the electorate, so it's not like it'd be inconceivable for him to get through the primary process again--and the likes of Ryan, Rubio, Cruz, and Pence won't have a leg to stand on when it comes to arguing against his campaign, since they've all supported it.
There's certainly modern precedent for something like this when you look at Nixon. I think it's highly unlikely, but certainly possible. Go ahead and vomit now.

Oh wonderful, my conservative rube friends are now starting to post the videoMcParadigm wrote:And the "illegal immigrant" voter who turned out to be an American citizen (Gorkowski? And the video a few days/weeks ago where he was prevented from conmitting voter fraud but claimed it a victory anyway because, had he been willing to leave a paper trail that even the most inconsequential of reviews (the type that run all the time) would have revealed and implicated him in, he could have temporarily voted using another living citizen's name.
But if you're moronic trash on the internet his works are always very, very important

Trump has invited Obama's Kenyan-born half-brother as a guest for tomorrow's debate. What.

Republicans think Democrats are so dumb that they'd go to great lengths to rig elections in only those cities that they'll never lose anyway.
Someone should tell them that Dems "rigging" the count in Chicago is like a kid using cheat codes after beating the game.

It almost sounds like it's in direct response to Obama telling him to stop whining today.

Re: Election 2016
do you guys really think that it was all a matter editing in the recent vids? is it really above the political machine to orchestrate shit like that?
this o'keefe guy has a bit of a spotty past, but two of the guys in these videos have been fired in the last two days. and attacking him and avoiding the subject matter is like the DNC crying "the russians did it, the russians did it" anytime anyone brings up anything in the leaked emails. the messenger isn't the point here.
the corruption and collusion and elitism and overall shittyness isn't limited to one party.

Since we all agree on something (other than the whole LB > BS thing), this thread getting dull. Maybe I should try defending Trump.

Does the city level count matter? Aren't electors determined at the state level popular vote?McParadigm wrote:Republicans think Democrats are so dumb that they'd go to great lengths to rig elections in only those cities that they'll never lose anyway.

Yes. And Illinois hasn't seen a republican candidate come close in a quarter century.simple schoolboy wrote:Does the city level count matter? If, for example, Bush had wanted to use voter fraud to take it away from John Kerry, he would have had to "create" more than 500,000 fake votes. In one state. If McCain had wanted to do that against Obama (popular there for obvious reasons), he would have had to invent more than 1,300,000 fake votes.
There's just nothing to be gained by Democrats from rigging anything in Illinois.

I've enjoyed live-RMing the debates, going all the way back to the primaries, and I'm kind of sad that tonight will be the last one.
