I had this thought in the shower this morning, so please bear with me (and hold your vomit until the end): a lot of speculation is flying around about what Trump might do after the election if he loses. There's talk of a "Trump News Network" that he and Roger Ailes could start; he could start an alt-right super PAC; he could just go on speaking tours and rake in the cash; or he might just spend a few months contesting the election results and then disappear into thin air. But not many people have been pondering: could Trump run for President again in 2020? It's not a very difficult scenario to imagine: if Clinton gets elected and (a) the economy either flat lines, slightly recedes, or goes into a deep recession; (b) there's a terrorist attack (or a series of them) carried out by a Syrian refugee; (c) Hillary's choice(s) to fill the Supreme Court start to be the deciding votes in cases that might drive his base mad, and then another justice dies or retires in 2019; or (d) there actually are voting irregularities, even if they're not enough to swing the election one way or another...couldn't you see Trump running on a platform of "I told you so!" in 2020? He's obviously got a floor or 35%-39% of the electorate, so it's not like it'd be inconceivable for him to get through the primary process again--and the likes of Ryan, Rubio, Cruz, and Pence won't have a leg to stand on when it comes to arguing against his campaign, since they've all supported it.

There's certainly modern precedent for something like this when you look at Nixon. I think it's highly unlikely, but certainly possible. Go ahead and vomit now.

And the video a few days/weeks ago where he was prevented from conmitting voter fraud but claimed it a victory anyway because, had he been willing to leave a paper trail that even the most inconsequential of reviews (the type that run all the time) would have revealed and implicated him in, he could have temporarily voted using another living citizen's name.

this o'keefe guy has a bit of a spotty past, but two of the guys in these videos have been fired in the last two days. and attacking him and avoiding the subject matter is like the DNC crying "the russians did it, the russians did it" anytime anyone brings up anything in the leaked emails. the messenger isn't the point here.

Yes. And Illinois hasn't seen a republican candidate come close in a quarter century.

If, for example, Bush had wanted to use voter fraud to take it away from John Kerry, he would have had to "create" more than 500,000 fake votes. In one state. If McCain had wanted to do that against Obama (popular there for obvious reasons), he would have had to invent more than 1,300,000 fake votes.

There's just nothing to be gained by Democrats from rigging anything in Illinois.
