This is the one thing... I absolutely cannot give PJ a pass on how they treated Dave A. When Ed name-dropped him this year in Telluride and played his song I had a sliver of hope they would make amends and 'do the right thing.'

Unfortunately, I agree that it has become an embarrassingly sad stain on the band's history to the extent that I think this whole 'rule change' was orchestrated by PJ in a feeble effort to save face. Ah well... true colors eventually DO reveal themselves in time.
