Those moments made me laugh right the fuck out loud. And then again the second time I watched it. Kate McKinnon is a national treasure. Ditto Emily Blunt.

It is. But I appreciate the effort. I like what they were going for and would encourage them to stretch a bit more and take some chances in the future.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I used way too many words in that post. I don't even mean the adjectives. I used a lot of verbs. My sentence bums me out.

Oh, I don't think it's any sort of regression at all. It's a textbook comedic scene experiment; it may have even killed in dress. I don't hate on them for failed experiments like that one, even if it's not funny. Experimentation is never tired, and it always gives their cast an opportunity to try some new characters.

The Trump girls song wasn't too funny, but on a purely musical level, it's one of the best songs the show has ever done.

So when I said that, I had no idea it was already a song by Beyonce. Compliment revoked, and I feel like a nitwit.

I tend to agree. Lemonade is leagues above anything she's done before. It's a truly great album
