I understand why some people prefer the seated floor to GA, but every rock show that I go to with a seated floor just doesn't feel right to me. Neil Young plays GA floor still and his fan base is even older than PJ's. There isn't any moshing or crowd surfing (thank God), but there is an energy on the floor that you just don't get with seated rows.

Plus it gives those young PJ fans the chance to see the guys up close.

Considering that the first rumored release of MYM was 7/16, I'm guessing we'll get an album announcement on 7/11 and then a third clock counting down to 7/16 and the single.

So what's wrong with that? Stop whining!!!
Seriously? Whining about whining is so 2006. Some people are repeatedly disappointed in this piece of shit club, and for good reason.

I thought they both kind of sucked, with the obvious caveat that you can't really take much of anything of value from a few seconds of music.

I don't think anyone's surprised, but still we're going to get people saying this over and over again, which will eventually be more annoying than the tour announcement.
Yeah now we get to listen to bmacsmith harp.
i have some new material I've been saving just for this occasion.
does RM have the ignore feature?
Just kidding. dont worry, after all this countdown excitement, I'm back to not giving a shit about this silly band again. Now I gotta go to work!

A countdown to yet another countdown. Band management is pathetic.

I liked the dark, haunting portion of the clip. The other one, I was a bit "meh" on. And, of course, that will mean the first part was just an instrumental for the clip and the other part will be an actual album track.

I think there are a lot of young 10 Club members in their teens. I met a 13 year old in Chicago in 2009 who was going to his first show ever. His 10 Club tickets were in the upper deck at the back of the arena. I felt bad for the kid.

Well, there's plenty of great music out there in the wide world. Safe travels!

So, like, what would have made people here happy today? How could this be a letdown for anyone whose expectations were reasonable? Not to mention they're not yet done making announcements. The countdown is cheesy and, sure, largely misrepresents the amount of interest the public at large has in the band at this point. But still, in the end, big deal.

I think the band legitimately think people care. I blame the fanbois over on the pit and the people who are buying the dog collars. They are really fucking with any realistic understanding the band has left regarding the real public's perception and interest in them.

The 'heavy' bit sounded like a slightly heavier Severed Hand mixed with PJ's best impression of SOAD's 'Chop Suey'.

i think platypus's heavy remixes have struck a chord. at least with the non-drumming piece.
