Cubs "fans" coming out of the woodwork on my FB feed now.

And then there's also that Eddie Vedder douche.

Go Tribe.

I bet most of the country will be pulling for the Cubs except Clevelanders and dirtbag White Sox fans.

As a Boston fan, this is a hard choice.

Cubs...why?
Theo
Lester
Shit load of time since last WS win

Cleveland...why?
Tito
Shit load of time since last WS win.

Gotta go with Cleveland. Hated how BoSox management smeared Tito on his way out of town. Also, two titles for Cleveland in the same year? Why the fuck not?

All fan bias aside, Cleveland sitting on their ass for almost a week isn't going to play out well for them.

Guys, I'm not sure my keyboard is going to let me type this, but here it goes...veeeeeeeee.......vrrrrrrrrr.......sssssssss.......rrrrrrr......ttttttt.....damn it, let me start again, I'll go very slowly. I may need a drink before I actually type this out. Deep breaths, deep breaths....verb is probably right.

Ugh! That took a lot out of me.

The hitting might start out slow but it can only be good for the pitching staff.

And recent history shows more time off really doesn't mean much.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. But Cleveland seems to be the type of team that was benefiting from their momentum. If I was an Indians fan I'd be really nervous about the time off.

Kind of like the 07 Rockies, though I like this Cleveland team better than them.

I like that the loser gets the "longest World Series drought" title. There's a lot on the line here.

It still seems crazy that, of all the teams to make the LCS the last two years, the Jays have the most recent World Series win.

Cubs already hold it, so I guess pressure's on the Indians!

that feel when as a White Sox fan you see multiple media outlets tweeting about how Chicago hasn’t seen a World Series in 71 years
