5. Lift restrictions on the production of $50 trillion dollars’ worth of U.S. energy reserves including shale, oil, natural gas and coal
6. Approve the Keystone XL pipeline project and other 'vital energy infrastructure projects'
7. Cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to improve U.S. water and environmental infrastructur

I would consider these to be on the "good" side of the ledger. Whether or not there is a simple, practical way to enforce these is another matter.

A lot of this sounds like isolationism which hasn't worked before and in fact, it failed spectacularly. I don't think now is the time to once again attempt that policy.

What exactly is a sanctuary city anyway? It sounds fictional, like a Tolkien creation and cutting funding would just exacerbate issues in these fictional cities.

For example, let's say there's a ban on US exports of baby formula to Syria; Aleppo may be exempt from that ban, so that those impacted by fighting can at least feed their infants. Again, just speculating.

I am not educated enough in the area to accurately judge either treaty, but technology has changed quite a bit since NAFTA was written, as has the overall global marketplaces in energy, manufacturing, and finance. I believe the right course of action is what Bernie said and to go back to the table to make sure our long term interests are still being supported by the agreement. The TPP on the other hand, is bad news all around.
