my fav stones song changes like every day.. def one of these five..

dead roses
moonlight mile

sympathy for the devil

they have a run of cds late 60s/early 70s thats insane.... i never got into em much until recently because my first exposure to them was their 80s- which is total crap

Maybe it's cliche to love it, but Paint It Black is just one of my all time favorite songs. I can't listen to it enough.

Oh holy shit...listen to them all from start to finish. Especially Exile on Main Street. Exile on Main Street is a night in a dirty, smoky, greasy bar somewhere in the vague American South with cheats, whores, vagrants, and probably fleas.

Dude, this has been a priority for me since finishing up the Tom Waits discog. This is going to happen. Soon. I think I'm finally ready.

Sticky Fingers, Exile, Some Girls & Tattoo You are the ones that slay me every time. At least listen to those four all the way through. And it helps to be drunk.

The Stones are great drinking music. For me, much more so than the other Brit Invasion bands. The Stones brand of dirty rock n' roll + booze = good time.

Probably because of how much the Stones fucking loved the old American blues artists...lends itself to drinking better than the Kinks to borrow from the thread directly below. Care for a spot of tea!

Posted this song on the old board, not sure how many saw it / listened to it.

It's one of my personal favorite songs ever, and certainly ranks as a top Stones song for me.

Totally. When I'm making mixes for hanging out / partying / drinking, the Stones have more songs by far than any of the other Brit Invasion bands.

I respectfully disagree. But I only recognize three of the songs you posted. Maybe I know the others, but don't recognize the titles. At any rate, The Beatles are awesome.

I know, man. It pains me to admit to it. But I've always been a piecemeal Stones fan. Raised on radio. I know I've heard most of the songs on Exile, just not in one sitting and not in the proper order.
