If the entire season is going to keep this tone - I think I'm out. Too dark and brutal for me

Wasn't season long, just two episodes. Just over a winter break so it felt longer

Those 2 made sense to me. Both died around the same time in the comics.

Lol at Rick's snot bubble.

And Glen's was especially fucked up.
similar to the comic. Great. Daryl's arc will be most interesting as that's not in the comic.

Yeah. I've kinda enjoyed the last couple seasons after years of hate watching because it looked like they were building something and there was a glint of a hopeful tone. If its just misery again that would suck.

Of course it's just going to be misery again. Why would you expect anything else? That's all it's ever been and it's only grown more and more popular.

It's like the lowest form of writing with really great FX on top of it. You should all quit this show and spend your nights watching High Maintenance and Insecure.
I have an irrational obsession with the apocalypse and dystopian futures. You keep watching your prissy documentaries and when the world ends don't come knocking on my bunker door. Oddly enough, my western states evac site isn't too far from where you live.

The "sunday dinner" scene towards the ends was heartbreaking. Particularly with
Spoiler: show
Glenn and his little boy on his lap.

Mrs Rangi got a bit choked up during this scene and a few other times during the episode. I swear I wasn't crying - I wasn't!!!!

That was fucking brutal for sure. I'm not easily disturbed by cable TV but goddamn, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan's sadistic portrayal was on point, but again almost too much so. The first kill was tolerable but I almost felt sick after the second one, especially the words that were uttered before the final blows.

So that article brings up a lot of good points and im sure most would agree with them. However, why are people so emotionally invested in the thing that they feel they are being snubbed on a personal level? Entertainment Fandom again shows its head.
