So that article brings up a lot of good points and im sure most would agree with them. However, why are people so emotionally invested in the thing that they feel they are being snubbed on a personal level? Entertainment Fandom again shows its head.

It's a soap opera, and that's how people tend to react to soap operas.Strat wrote:http://www.theverge.com/2016/10/24/13378876/the-walking-dead-season-7-premiere-recap-review-end-of-quitters-club

I don't know about that, have you watched General Hospital Lately? I'll save it for the GH thread. No skulls getting crushed in.

I watch General Hospital everyday. The majority of shows everyone loses there minds over are just soaps with higher production values.

Mother of god. It has no end game. No narrative arc. Just six more seasons of random twisted villain guy who arbitrarily kills people.Strat wrote:I thought i read that they are planning like 6 more seasons?jwfocker wrote:I really hope this is the season that they all finally die in.

Season 8 may be the last. Rick, Carol, Carl and Darryl's contract end then. They would need to renegotiate. Kirkman hopes the TV franchise lasts 25 years. I believe he used a Star Trek comparison. I assume he meant across several series. Read rumors of a more wilderness setting and a European setting.

ugh. It's just a money grab show. No point. No building to anything. Just ongoing sameness until the ratings drop, then a shitty finale. I avoid these types of shows like the plague.CopperTom wrote:Kirkman hopes the TV franchise lasts 25 years. I believe he used a Star Trek comparison. I assume he meant across several series. Executive producer David Alpert said in 2014, that the original comics have given them enough ideas for Rick Grimes and company over the next seven years. "I happen to love working from source material, specifically because we have a pretty good idea of what Season 10 is gonna be", Alpert said. "We know where seasons 11 and 12 [will be]... we have benchmarks and milestones for those seasons if we're lucky enough to get there."

That meme is the only good thing that has come out of the comic or the show.

So can you really show someone's eyeball being popped out of their smashed head on Tv these days? We've come a long way from Lucy and Ricky's twin beds.

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
Having the show go 12 or 13 seasons is beyond, it should just go 9 and end. This year can be Negan's domination. Then make next year All out war and end it with the whisperers.
