I know that might seem like just a general thought we all have, but it's actually related to today.

I'm thinking this is why I so much more tolerant of the Red team than most of you, this shit doesn't really happen here in the DC burbs.

Re: Election 2016
Interesting from Nate Silver: if these e-mail "revelations" (if there are any) have the same impact on polls that Comey's investigation had, it could mean a 20%-25% swing in election probabilities.

More like 15%-20%---I was working off the model from a few days ago. Right now they have it 82/18 Clinton.Simple Torture wrote:Interesting from Nate Silver: if these e-mail "revelations" (if there are any) have the same impact on polls that Comey's investigation had, it could mean a 20%-25% swing in election probabilities.

Re: Election 2016
The percentage chance thing is so dumb to me. I'd rather just see the poll average and electoral college prediction.

I am a bit surprised Hillary is doing so well in Virginia polls. Anywhere outside of Arlington/Fairfax is solid Trump signs.

Pretty sure people cared about the emails six months ago. Just not all the liberalstragabigzanda wrote:I am so sick of it all. No one cared about the emails six months ago, it's not gonna be any different now. And all the GOP who've been doing damage control and trying to distance themselves from Trump are now right back on board, the thirsty vultures. And the media is right back on top of the story, running headlines that suggest this could actually sway the election, when they know full well that it won't -- but of course they want those clicks, so they'll run whatever is titillating for the evening.
Fuck everything.
