As a Warriors fan I really hope the Cubs come back from the 3-1 hole.

Most Indians fans were hoping a just a bit for a loss last night so we can win the World Series in Cleveland. Also, we'd all feel like dicks for sweeping the Cubs in Wrigley to win the World Series. It just seems like too much abuse for one team.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I have really enjoyed this world series without a rooting interest. Great managers, well constructed teams. Just really enjoyable baseball. I was hoping for game 7 before it started. That said. So far Cleveland looks like the better team to me, though having the DH might actually help the Cubs more. Corey Kluber has been fantastic really most of the Cleveland pitching has been great.

I'm a dick, I was thinking this whole time that the 2 world series teams were both from chicago even though I knew since I was 12 that it's the Cleveland Indians. I swear, life is more fun for not thinking

If what you're saying is that Cubs fans shouldn't believe in the culture that has been built over the last few years and feel some security in the young roster they have i don't know what to tell you.
There's a big difference between taking solace in the fact that they won a lot of games this year (which, while it makes for a much better season, is strange to me, since the entire point is to try to win the World Series) and taking solace in the fact the they're an extremely talented young team that will have a great chance to win a World Series going forward.
