Re: 10th album rumors and speculation
Whenever I'm stoned I'm convinced this new album is going to be good. It's the strangest thing. I just can't imagine this being good, sober. Right now? THIS ALBUM IS GOING TO BE FUCKING RAD!

You should take some PCP and report back about how good it's going to be.HardTI wrote:Whenever I'm stoned I'm convinced this new album is going to be good. It's the strangest thing. I just can't imagine this being good, sober. Right now? THIS ALBUM IS GOING TO BE FUCKING RAD!

Also, didn't someone mention (forever ago) that they thought this album would be similar to Yield? I totally agree. I think that would be the logical extension to Backspacer. And that excites me.

Wouldn't it make more sense that Backspacer was the logical extension of Yield?HardTI wrote:Also, didn't someone mention (forever ago) that they thought this album would be similar to Yield? I totally agree. I think that would be the logical extension to Backspacer. And that excites me.

Is using "rad" a thing? I've been saying it for about 10+ years now.Sgt. Crackpot wrote:There it is again. The ambient piece sounds like its a slowed down something else. Could just be a line 6 delay pedal but its definitely interesting.

Me too, I'm really hoping this is Sirens...or will at least be on the album in some form whether its a Master/Slave thing or the intro of a song.stip wrote:I really love the ambient piece.gems and rhinestones wrote:

Re: 10th album rumors and speculation
That would make sense, except that Backspacer sucks. I think the logical extension, to me, means longer songs with more dynamics. The production will be slick and concise, but there will be a bit more material this time.harmless wrote:Wouldn't it make more sense that Backspacer was the logical extension of Yield?HardTI wrote:Also, didn't someone mention (forever ago) that they thought this album would be similar to Yield? Re: 10th album rumors and speculation
If that's 'Sirens', it might make a little bit of sense of the 'sounds like Black' rumour. Yeah, the similarity is a distant one, but it's there for me. It's a dark ballad cut from the same cloth (albeit with a different production).

Re: 10th album rumors and speculation
what's with the 10-era "pearl jam" logo, 10-era font for the tour dates, and 10-era riff in that song at the end of the video?
