Is it a gungan being played by Laura Burhenn? Or just a creepy soundalike?
An ewok.

But the ewok sounds like Annie Clark.

The crawl was a joke/reference in the first place. It has it's place. But in front of Rogue One is not where it belongs. This is the right call.

It was never a joke. An homage to the old Flash Gordon serials mainly.
Take them out of Star Wars and see how jokey they are. They're not a joke at all.
They help set Star Wars apart in modern cinema entirely.

I'd love to see it with you guys. I guess it'll be a late late session full of single guys, looking rather awkward.

Of all the movies I can think of... this is the one I'd most love to see with RMers. I mean that.

I can't even think about episode 8 right now.

If this is as good as I expect it to be... I have no idea how I'll make it to Ep 8. The Force Awakens was great. It got me excited. Two amazing Star Wars films in a row though???!

I might die.

I know love the fact they have different directors and writers for all of it.
