Re: 2016-11-04: Philadelphia, PA (TOTD)
that was nice.
maybe in the future sets they should sprinkle the TOTD tracks around a little more.
part of me wonders if the main set will be too low energy for a place like MSG. it works fine enough in a smaller venue like this one. but that felt much like a tune-up show which may not play well in front of X,000 people .... we shall see
i am usually the first person to diss covers, but a lot of those sounded good
maybe Ed makes the cameo for MSG, given that he will probably be in town anyways meeting with his investment bankers, and there will be some PJ songs
... or maybe Kim T and Ben S show up and there are some SG songs ...
or maybe none of these things ...
but that's a big venue and I just don't see this set really getting the job quite done after the mega-PJ sets that have been played there ...
will basically be the same crowd in attendence
save a few rand-bros
Seasons was great

I missed that one and the rest from the beginning. Hopefully they'll be another scope tomorrow. I've been inspired to listen to a few favourites from the album at the moment.

I have always wondered about PJ in that aspect too... just how far in advance are setlists written?
But based on last night those two Seattle shows are gonna be fucking monsters

Anyone else notice the cool TotD graphic on the front of Matt's drums? I like it! I'd like to see that on some tour merch.

I love Matt Cameron!
I absolutely hate how he has his initials on his PJ touring kick the past few years.
Bro. We know who you are.
