Yeah, I'm starting to think the same thing.tragabigzanda wrote:Some pretty big states looking very different from Nate Silver's predictions. If this holds there really does need to be a reckoning with the pollsters and press.

If she keeps VA, it basically all comes down to Michigan, correct?

Re: Election 2016
trag, I love you. I really do. Nate Silver doesn't account for Trump supporters, pollsters do. He just goes with the data he has. He's been wringing his hands for months because he's heard stories of pollsters throwing out outliers--for example, people throwing out polls where Trump was close or winning in Virginia--and if polls like those were in the model, there's a chance it'd be closer.tragabigzanda wrote:Some pretty big states looking very different from Nate Silver's predictions. Wisconsin is also in play. And NH. And do we trust NV exit polls right now?digster wrote:If she keeps VA, it basically all comes down to Michigan, correct?

Yeah, MI being the big one is predicated on WI holding and the early voting in Nevada putting it in her corner.4/5 wrote:Wisconsin is also in play. And NH. And do we trust NV exit polls right now?digster wrote:If she keeps VA, it basically all comes down to Michigan, correct?
