So if the do multiple shows in the same city then you can only do one? Then if we get both and the announce a 2nd charlotte show then we will use chloe's numbercutuphalfdead wrote:You potentially can get tickets for every show you request, unless the shows are in the same city.

There is no definitive word on how it will work if they announce another show in a city.

I suspect for Worcester and Seattle it (immediate on sale) will happen after the first shows sell out.mkay0 wrote:There is no definitive word on how it will work if they announce another show in a city.

So, anyone have any idea on how much of the floor the GA will take up? Will there be seats behind GA on the lowest level, like Wrigley?

They are following a pretty similar pattern to album/tour as 2009, so thinking more shows next year in underserved markets like they did in 2010 is pretty reasonable. Not that its good news today.

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
So what is it like...25 shows over two legs? Two months? Average of 12.5 shows a month?
Thats embarrassing. I get that some of them have families an dont want to be away that long but good lord - they are rock stars and they are home with their families far more than the average working stiff. Man up Do multiple legs at least. Take a couple weeks off and hit the rest of the goddamn country. This 25 show tour shit in the same markets every few years is laughable.

Isn't this the most extensive US tour they've done since 2006? It's still a pretty sizable chunk of shows for these guys at this point. As was said above, I wouldn't be overly surprised to see some limited dates in 2014 in places they didn't go near this time around.

Wouldn't the average working stiff like, not leave their families at all over any point of the year for more than 1 week, tops?Strat wrote:So what is it like...25 shows over two legs? Two months? Average of 12.5 shows a month?

I agree, they need to play more shows. Just saying.
Also, there are some cities on this tour they haven't played in a long time:
Worcester (have they ever played here?)
Baltimore (when was the last time they played this market...1998?)
Charlottesville (I'm fairly certain they've never played here)
Charlotte (first time since 2003)
Dallas (first time since 2003)
Oklahoma City (first time since 2003)
Phoenix (first time since 2003)
Portland (only 4 shows since 1993)
Spokane (first show since 6/17/1993)
Seattle (sad though it may be, only 2 shows in the last 10 years in their hometown)
I'm sure they continue touring next spring or summer like they did in 2010.

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
It depends on if you consider DC to REALLY be out of this market. First Mariner Arena (Baltimore) is as far from the Verizon Center (DC) as the Verizon Center is from Jiffy Lube Live (Bristow, where several "DC" shows have taken place). When I lived in the area it would have been easier to get from First Mariner to Verizon than it would be to get from Verizon to Jiffy Lube.matt reeder wrote:Baltimore (when was the last time they played this market...1998?)
But yeah, I guess Merriweather in 1998 would have been the last show in Maryland.

Re: Fall 2013 North American Tour
How does the fact that the average middle class person is over-worked factor into a PJ tour? Also, how could we possibly know how hard they do or don't work?Strat wrote:The average working stiff is gone 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, some much more...matt reeder wrote:Wouldn't the average working stiff like, not leave their families at all over any point of the year for more than 1 week, tops?Strat wrote:So what is it like...25 shows over two legs? Technically they are playing a show in Chicago next week. But it's kinda low key, so you may have forgotten about it.Strat wrote:
