Well, Trump did tell his supports to stop the harassment during 60 Minutes last night. We'll see if that works.

Both are right wing, populists, who made a lot of money in the private sector and both have heavy nationalist leanings. Berlusconi praised Benito Mussolini in the past for example.

Berlusconi is a snake but nationalism is on the rise so he seems to get a pass. He went through a serious tax fraud scandal but some how got out of it. This is just from following soccer in Italy though so I don't know specifics.

Oh, he's the president of AC Milan and he also runs basically all the media in Italy.

It's a reaction to that as well as the perceived threat of globalism and... other things

Globalism is the big one I think because it enables people to tie all the other issues into one big threat.

That's actually one of the things I was most bummed out about. I was really looking forward to Trump completely disappearing from the news cycle for a while. Now it really is all Trump all the time. I've barely watched any television news since the election out of sheer dread.

This video takes aim at the hypocrisy of our political system and the populace that perpetuates it (including myself). These truths are why I migrate closer to Volunteerism each day. Our personal liberty is at the heart of our God given freedom, and our birth right as Americans, and (far) more importantly, as humans. This isn't just meant as a shot at the left, but it is also a call to reality for the right. Freedom is for EVERYONE. Even if we don't agree! That is supposed to be the bedrock of our country. FREEDOM!!! More than anything, this should bring us together. Fight for justice, and truth, and the "American way". But most importantly, fight for freedom!
