I can't stop thinking about it either. Such a great film.

Strat you need to see it immediately.

I don't know about Oscars, this type of film usually doesn't appeal to the selection committee.

Also, I wish we heard what the Chinese general whispered to her, seemed really heavy. Good acting on Adams' part in that scene

Somehow I feel like the movie Interstellar could have learned a lesson from this movie

Considering Arrival came out after Interstellar, do you think it would be necessary for Arrival to teach Insterstellar that lesson through, say, some sort of bookshelf time travel scenario?

Lol. Yeah I just meant how this movie handled time was way better than that third act of interstellar

I also think this movie captured exactly how humanity would unfortunately respond to a situation like this. If an alien race has the capability to travel to us and visit, even if their intentions are friendly, we're doomed.

I was thinking about the reality of us being visited. This film almost gets it right. In truth we'd tear ourselves apart and fight against each other I think.
Lead me on to another question.

Are we being prepared for something like this? Lotta alien arriving on earth movies lately

It was used as a propaganda machine in the 80s. Rambo. Top gun. Rocky.

Look up social engineering. Film and entertainment is usually the tip of the spear.

Only have to look at the success of the gay agenda worldwide to see how effective it is.
