I think it's unlikely, but I wouldn't rule it out completely if one of Trump's multiple skeletons emerge from the closet to the point that it will mean doom for 2020, a critical year due to it being a census year for redistricting.

Wouldn't impeachment leave us with Mike Pence? Fuck that, Trump can stay. I don't care how many women he rapes.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Also, I have a hunch that while most people would step into the Oval Office and feel a sense of responsibility, Trump is probably just seeing dollar signs. It's the perfect vantage point from which to make all manner of deals of self-interest.
I've said this from the outset of his candidacy.

Hasn't he already said he wont accept the Presidential Salary/Will only take $1 because he's legally bound to it?

What does that have to do with him using his position as President to make bonzo deals for himself and his companies?

I was actually supporting your position. Why would he accept the presidential salary when he can forego that bullshit and steal millions through his horrible business dealings.

I have a feeling that while Trump is making deals, Pence will be the one working with Congress to pass bills. And we may just see Trump lose his shit on Pence at some point for not being an inactive VP, because I think Trump secretly wants to be loved by liberals. Our women are much more loose...

Trump has registered a number of companies in Saudi Arabia during the campaign it seems.
The conflict of interest thing has got to be focused on by media but will they?

Dan Rather wrote:Bullies are often thin-skinned, quick to overreact when challenged, and undone when people are no longer afraid to speak truth to their face. Great presidents are almost always the opposite in all those categories.

Reflecting on Donald Trump's complete overreaction to a statement made at the end of a performance of Broadway's Hamilton: An American Musical, I couldn't help but think - doesn't this man have more important things to worry about? Hasn't the theater long been a stage for political art? And isn't this a man who broke so many norms as a candidate, insulted so many people - individually and as groups - that he now has the nerve to demand an apology when he never gave one himself?

I know there are many who say that this incident shouldn't be blown out of proportion. Yes, when compared to cabinet posts or paying out $25 million in a fraud case against "Trump University," a Tweet maybe might not seem that important. But being president is to have every word you utter scrutinized. And these words are intimidating and unfitting of the office of the presidency. But more importantly, they show a real weakness of vanity and small-mindedness that our enemies abroad will likely look to exploit. I can also imagine that Trump's political foes at home are noticing - once again - how easily he can be rattled.

I imagine this is not the last we will see of these kinds of incidents.

I'm not sure if the undone point is correct. There were plenty of people who spoke truth as to what Trump's about, and he still did enough to win. The cold, hard truth is that there just may be too many people who are also bullies, or are OK or allow bullies to be enabled.

I really don't think Trump will stay quiet long if the dominating narrative of his administration comes to be that Pence runs the show while Trump the buffoon is wheeled out for the ribbon-cuttings. I think he would be fine with that set up, but not if that is how he is viewed by the world. I remember the day after the vice presidential debate everyone was speaking about Pence's skills, and how he had done so well by differentiating himself from Trump; basically, pumping up Pence by insulting Trump in the process.

And Trump couldn't take it. In every speech that day, he talked about how much credit he was getting because he picked Pence, sources revealed that he was pissed that Pence did so well. The guy is an egomaniac; he will go crazy if he's perceived as an empty shell on the throne.

Better. Given another 24 hours, I expect to be a functioning human being.

https://www.engadget.com/2016/11/21/cli ... f-feeling/
With this analysis, Silverman was able to show that the 20 most popular fake posts were "engaged with" (Facebook's term for likes, shares and so on) 8.71 million times in the lead up to the election, compared to just 2.97 million times in February to April. Mainstream news showed the opposite pattern: Starting at 12.4 million, and falling to 7.37 million in the final period -- 1.34 million less than the fake news. The overall number of engagements is fairly steady, too, suggesting that, at least to some extent, Facebook users were sharing fake news instead of real stories

Is it too late for our gov't to make a bare minium of standards for someone running for president? This whole "anybody can be president" thing is kind of dumb.
