However I think they'll pump the brakes after episode 9 and leave it settle for a few years.
They're not stupid and will treat the Star Wars franchise more carefully than the marvel thing. Which is a case study in over saturation to my mind. How many different properties have they running and to come from marvel?
If Star Wars was at that level of pumping different standalones outin different storylines etc, I really wouldn't get involved. And I'm fairly hardcore.
SW is the golden goose. Way more than the comic book films. They'll treat it with a lot more care.
"I really enjoy sandwiches but the other guys are so good at making sandwiches that I don't make them. Now I make sandwiches."
So if they were to have Princess Leia at the end of rogue one they'd have been crazy not to use 11. She could easily be made up to look slightly older.
No, cmon guys....leave that kid alone. This is nostalgia act at its more purest and dangerous form...this new kid who just started her career being Leia??
Why dont we root for a new character? Someone we dont know? She is talented, i wanna see her doing something new that might be as iconic as leia is...but her?

No, please.
Anything would be better for her than Stranger Things Season 2, VG.
She being Leia is not a better thing. Its almost child pornography.
Would you rather see the prequels remade and be really brilliant films? Or further standalone films about Obi Wan yoda etc and explore the galaxy with new stories?
