Mezzanine.
Flagged both and ended up ordering Out of Time

i bought a denon DP-57M from ebay a few months ago and it sat in the box a few months since i was moving between houses. finally unpacked it last night. It was packaged really well but unfortunately, the almost new cover had cracked completely near the left hinge. the rest of the unit is nearly flawless though so I'm pretty happy overall. anyone know where to find covers for these models?

Keep your eye on ebay. Or, what I did, find a company in town (or out of town) that creates plastics and give them the dimensions and they'll make you one

for sure! it cost me about $60 to make a basic cover for my Technics. It doesn't have a place for hinges or anything, I just have to take it on and off. I also put tiny dabs of rubber cement on the bottom corners to act as a grip so it wouldn't slide around

Nah some place called Commercial Plastics that was closer to me, plus Tap never returned my call so. I'm happy I went with who I did. Nice guys, and I got to pet the office dog when I picked up my order.

Any of you guys know anything about this record?

Image

I know the signatures aren't real, they are fake and part of the album artwork. But my mom found this thing in really good condition out in New Mexico. She has it at her trade/thrift shop but has no idea what to ask for it. Have you guys heard the record? Seen the record? Know anything? I saw an old listing on ebay for like $40. But then I also saw it on some British website for like $500. I have no idea.

The band is Sivel Sound Experience. They're an indie band from the late 60s/early 70s out of Omaha (I think?).

There's nothing about it on Discogs.

Yeah that seems pretty obscure. Not seeing much about it at all.

Barely any info out there about the record label. They have a few things listed on Discogs, and at some point changed their name to Renee Records

Fascinating.

Maybe I'll let her know I'm interested in the thing if she can't move it for a decent amount. Might be fun to have in the collection, even if it isn't worth anything.

Thanks, guys.
