If trades are allowed, I would trade for him.

With the all-star break coming up, we should figure out how to do the waiver wire. Also, I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to allow teams to do a single player-for-player trade if they want to forfeit their right to waive one player at the break.

Yeah, that's why I was considering it. Ok, let's allow it. Here are the parameters...

Each team has the option to take place in a single player-for-player trade. Multiple team trades are ok, but they must be presented simultaneously as one deal, and the end result has to be each team replacing one player. If you participate in a trade, you lose the right to waive a player at the All-Star break. The trade window will be open from the moment day thirteen results are posted until the moment the day seventeen sims are run (you can obviously discuss trades before then, but that is the window for when they can officially take place). After the day seventeen games, the waiver period begins, and it will run until the day eighteen sims begin (there is a day off in between day seventeen and eighteen). Once the day eighteen games start, rosters are set for the season.

Javy Lopez and Bernie Williams are the only good players I have, and neither of them are going to be contending for any end of year awards

Pujols is a good trade prosepct. Big upside. Maybe I'm using him wrong. Middling numbers right now. Take a look, folks.
