Good info. I think I'm gonna do it.tragabigzanda wrote:The star cards and weapons from Outer Rim are pretty good, and the maps are fine.bada wrote:I'm starting to get into Battlefront. Is the Season pass worth it? It's $30. I bought the game for $20 a few months back so I don't feel like its a huge rip off to spend $30 more but I don't want to be stupid.
The star cards and weapons from Bespin are awesome, and the maps are awesome. The X-8 Night Sniper is a game changer.
The star cards and weapons from Death Star aren't great, except that everyone used the Heavy Repeater, so you almost have to get it to compete now. The map is idiotic, because you have to play the fly/ground/fly mode (can't remember what it's called).
And then the maps for the Rogue One DLC look great; no idea on the weapons and star cards.

And they give you nothing interesting to look at. It's a half-finished game in many ways, but it's still fun.LoathedVermin72 wrote:The lobbying/loading on Battlefront is a pretty major annoyance. It takes waaaaaay longer than it should.

So far, Final Fantasy 15 has a messy as hell story, a incredible combat system and a rewarding progression system. The combat is carrying the game.
The world seems huge with a ton to do. It's been fun but I'm not that far in.

Stayed up way too late trying to get a perfect run of the first level on the original. I think it has such a special place in my gaming heart because it was the first stealth game I ever really enjoyed/completed. And the art is still crazy beautiful. Really looking forward to playing the new one.Monkey_Driven wrote:I just want to go home and play more Dishonored 2.

I love how contained, yet varied each level is. So many ways to go about each one. Messing around with different powers/abilities is really fun too.Orpheus wrote:Stayed up way too late trying to get a perfect run of the first level on the original. Getting much better at Battlefront. Does anyone else ever just stop while playing a game and think, "Holy shit, I can't believe this exists?" Like it's insane to me how advanced and immersive the wish fulfillment is now. Who didn't want to battle AT-ATs and fly around in a robot battle as a kid? It's amazing.

That wish fulfillment and sense of scale is what makes the game to me, lack of single player and more modes/maps be damned. The gameplay is also silky smooth.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Getting much better at Battlefront. Does anyone else ever just stop while playing a game and think, "Holy shit, I can't believe this exists?" Yeah, and the graphics are gorgeous. I keep having the "holy shit" moments with both this and Titanfall 2.Monkey_Driven wrote:That wish fulfillment and sense of scale is what makes the game to me, lack of single player and more modes/maps be damned. Absolutely, the sound design is top notch too. It just feels like Star Wars.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Yeah, and the graphics are gorgeous. My main problem is I find it hard to see who I should be shooting. I feel like an old man. I'd say its a flaw in the game but it doesn't seem to be affecting the people killing me.

On the big maps that can certainly be a problem. The Endor level is maddening for this very reason.bada wrote:My main problem is I find it hard to see who I should be shooting. Definitely. My friend who's a huge SW fan comes over to play it and it's basically his favorite thing ever.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Getting much better at Battlefront. One complaint about Battlefront: it takes waaaaaaaay too long to level up and unlock items. I'm pretty frustrated by my lack of options right now.

The X-8 Sniper completely negates this problem.Monkey_Driven wrote:On the big maps that can certainly be a problem. I really wanna play super mario on iOS. You gotta spend €10 on it tho. I can't support buying something that will be such an addictive time sponge

Skip seeing the Arrival for the fourth time and just buy it. That game is going to be huge.dimejinky99 wrote:I really wanna play super mario on iOS. You gotta spend €10 on it tho. I can't support buying something that will be such an addictive time sponge
