I skipped this. I'm not really concerned for spoilers, it's ... y'know, I don't want my experience on 12/16 to be all rehashing shit I already saw.
There are no spoilers in that clip. Just a funny little scene.

Lol "Did you know that wasn't me?"

K2 seems like he's gonna be great.

It's a double of the joke we see between donny yen and the other guy.

Yeah, that's exactly what I want to skip. I wanna laugh in two weeks. I don't wanna watch the scene now and then on the 16th be like, "meh, seen it."
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Why can't we "like" posts, dammit?

I'm not even coming into the thread after this until I see it. I'm shooting for a screening at the local Atmos theater that was built just to show the Hobbit movies in 48fps so it's pretty swank.

What an awful set of movies to build a theater for

I highly doubt that. The people I know in the business have all but confirmed that he knew he was taking over way before we did and has been working on the thing for a while.

He did a lengthy interview saying he did it in four weeks. It's 5% themes we know and 95% new themes. I dunno. Just hope it's good

I thought that interview said he recorded it in 4 weeks? That seems right, but much more time was spent writing it? Idk.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. But I've been out of it. Maybe dime's right. I have no idea. Either way, it'll be great. They've been grooming Giacchino to do Star Wars for a long, long time. His heads in the game and he's GREAT at his job. I expect nothing short of excellent.

He told his brother he got the job and he was terrified and his brother said to him 'don't worry. You got this. You've been writing this score you're whole life'.

That's no PAC man

Actually saw a Death Star paper lampshade today. Among a million other bizarre Star Wars branded products(strangest being a pen that projects a picture of bb8 onto the ceiling when you wrote with it)

I kinda want the lampshade now
