Isn't there one on into the wild that's similar?

I like arc too.

There's a couple of dudes in here wearing beanies that are too tight.

Arc is nothing more than Ed Vedder being "inspired" after watching The Lion King.

Love it. Wish it had opened Riot Act at 9 minutes long.

I'm not opposed to an experimental little filler track of Ed chanting. The problem is he's not really good at it

I've seen him do the vocal layers and loops thing live at his solo shows, and it comes across much better there. I love Eddie's voice on "Riot Act" but I think he would have been better equipped to record something like this at a different moment in his career (I'm thinking of the layers at the end of "All Night" -- those are mighty fine).

I have also heard him do better live. The takes on the Riot Act track just fall short. He's sort of tentative and flat.

It definitely works much better in a live setting. Seeing him do it before the '03 Council Bluffs show was a treat.
