It's pj in New York. It'll be sold out before it goes on sale.
Yep. This.

Come on. Tickets were available in 2010. They were gone within 2 minutes, but some were there.

The best show for you will be the one you go to.

Wait wtf? How can they be sold out before they go on sale? I know there's a fan club presale but they don't sell out the whole show do they?

That arena is sold before they announce. With 10C taking over 20% it's even worse. What will happen is a bunch of "ticket drops" for weeks after the initial onsale. These "drops" are the big brokers releasing the tickets back to TM to resell. They will leave ticket spaces all over the the arena so the general buyers will see something that's not against the back walls. But it's all "sold" until they can't sell it.

Are you going to any of the Brooklyn shows, Joe?
Hellz yeah!

I'm definitely doing the 19th. Still up in the air about the 18th.
I may have to hit NYC for one of these shows then. I haven't seen PJ since Toronto in 2009.

Was at both 2010 MSG shows #1 was a solid show but #2 was off the charts. Crowd was insane! During Better Man,crowd sang lyrics back to Eddie so loud,he stopped & had tears in his eyes. I've always found the last show to be better!

They are being overly dramatic as there were hints of corruption in the TM ticketing system when Bruce last toured that area, there will be tickets available for the public sale. But they will be gone, based on 2010, within 2 minutes of the on-sale time. So make sure you can run through the TM system as fast as possible because there will be heavy load.

I've seen this band about a million times going back to 1991. 2010 MSG #2 was probably in my top 3 shows of all time.

MSG 2 1998 was the best PJ concert I have ever seen, but #2 in 2010 was pretty awesome as well. A Top 5 for me, fo-sho.

Moral of the story is in NYC, #2 is best.

I went to both MSG shows in 2008 and I thought they were both equally great. But general consensus that I get from folks on here is that "night 2" shows are always better, save for the MSG '03 shows.

It's completely baseless, I think it all derives from Caryn Rose's show reviews on Five Horizons.

Night 1 has just as much chance as being a great show as Night 2, pick whichever you want.

She did gush over MSG2-1998, but for good reason. I make that same assertion from experience at two night events:

NYC 1998
Philly 2006
Chicago 2009
MSG 2010
PJ20

Only LA I 2006 did I feel was better than LA II

Still, everyone should just pick the show they want to attend most since you won't be getting anything other than #1 in the NE corridor.

LA 1 in 03 was far better than the second night.
