If you'd made that movie, you would have ended up broken, too.

I will as soon as I can, friend. It's my top priority. I'm going to see if my wife wants to go Monday. I get off work early, so... fingers crossed.

And New York gets destroyed but a brilliant giant eagle appears and fixes everything and somehow wipes everyone's memory.

And they all lived happily every after.

It was tremendous. Biggly.

I thought this was a beautiful film. It hit me hard and I can't stop thinking about it. This is probably the best movie I've seen this year and one of the best science fiction films I've seen in a long, long time. Just gorgeous filmmaking. And heartfelt storytelling.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yeah. I've only known a few films that have been... I don't want to be so hyperbolic as to say "life changing" but certainly perception changing. Or perception shifting. Though perhaps with this movie the best term would be perception clarifying. This movie got me to look at life and humanity and actually think about how I feel about those things and it changed the way I thought I felt about those things in a meaningful way.

did you go to the theater or download it?
Theater. It might very well be the last time.
oh no, why?
Times have changed.
Did you go to an Alamo Drafthouse?
PS and by the way, I did in fact see this a The Alamo Draft House and it was such a lovely experience. I should maybe quit my job and go work for them. I love what they're all about over there.
