That would be good. I can't see any way that they can be part of the lyrics, without sounding lame. With any luck, the actual words will be in the 'vein' of telling someone to mind their manners, but in more of a 'fuck you' kind of way.
I'm gonna cut this little expectation off right away. Stop it guys. You're setting yourselves up for a massive letdown.

The lyrics will be filled will all kinds of minding manners.
and hopefully a whole shit ton of yeahs
If this is going to hark back to Ten, I want more than yeahs, I want yeah nananana-yeahs.

I wonder if, at the end of the countdown, all the plates and cutlery will be washed in black,

A Dutch radio host compared the new single with the energy of System of a Down's song Chop Suey, for what it's worth.

I can see that based on the clip which sounds like one of the heaviest things pj ever did. I am not normally a fan of that kind of stuff so ill be interested to see what pj makes of it

I thought Chop Suey as well. I'm down with that. SOAD got boring but I loved Toxicity. And as I said before, any of these bands + Ed on vocals would be something I'd be interested in hearing.

The other thought I had was that even if the music on that tour video *isn't* Pearl Jam and *isn't* on the new album, it still might give us a hint of the new music in terms of the mood, the 'brand' expectations it creates. I have trouble imagining the new album will be a rainbow pop album after having such a 'dark' and rocktastic tour video. They'll begin the branding campaign now.

This. The key to this song booming or busting is Ed though. I'm really excited for this.

So instead of 'fdkjghkjdfhgjkfdhgkjfdhgjkfghdjh YOU WANTED TO' x20

We'll be getting 'skdhkdshfgkjdhgkfdhgjkfdhgjkfdhgdj MINDYOURMANNERS'x20

Seriously though, are we gonna get lukin speed vocals? Ed better put down the cigs.

I don't believe this. The title sounds way too much like a Ramones song to not include the line, even if flippantly.

I'm actually pretty excited for whatever the single is, finally. It's really just today that I've felt this way.
