i had the same impression watching bits and pieces of a few episodes, but once i sat down and started going through the series i became hooked fairly quickly

for awhile it was my go to "comfort/background show"

First two episodes were really good. The two leads are spot on and the machinations / beauracracy / people that actually run the show around the royal family seem to be spot on too.
