I thought you followed me on Twitter?
I do, just haven't checked in there today. I am eager to go read that meltdown now, though.
Reharding your tweeting from today: I'm shocked that chud hasn't chomped on "vinyls" yet.

It wasn't too bad, I'm kind of resigned to Farrell being manager for life at this point.

No, I was reharding after the huge softening that occurred when thinking about Farrell's extension. Talking about records will do that to me.

On second thought, it's not thaaaat bad, but still a lot to give up for a reliever with a short resume of pitching well.

That's a big, big vote of confidence in Sandoval. Yikes.

It looks like Dombrowski has turned his Detroit bullpen disaster experience into an obsession with paying whatever it takes to load up his bullpen. Seems like a bit of an over-correction to me.

Well, they did need a set up man, assuming Ziegler is gone. Just kind of seems like a lot for Thornburg.

It's a lot for Thornburg and they paid a TON for Kimbrel.

Yeah, the Kimbrel one didn't bother me as much because it's Kimbrel, they needed a closer, and given where the market headed it doesn't look as bad today as it did at the time.

My biggest concern is that there doesn't seem to be any realization by anyone in the organization that the centerpiece of their lineup retired.

The original poster has gone back and edited or deleted all his message board posts, and people are DMing soxstats telling him to not get people in trouble. The plot thickens.

Man, I don't know how to feel about trading for Sale. Do we have to give up Benintendi? I'm basically down for anything except that.

One rumor I heard involved both Moncada and Kopech, but not Benintendi. Still rumor stages though, obviously, and that may have just been an initial offer.

I'm 100% on board with that deal. I'd much rather keep Benintendi.

I assume it would be something like Moncada, JBJ, Swihart, Kopech & E-Rod, which I think I'm ok with.
