Well
Spoiler: show
I didn't see any direct link to Rey, unless they are saying obi wan stole Satine from Maul? And that is why he had her throat painted red on the portrait in his cave? Idk, I feel like I'm missing something, I might watch the whole cave part again
Also, seeing the dark saber was cool

Interesting. How is Obi-Wan involved? What happens? I goddamn love Obi-Wan and if they're going to somehow give him more importance or relevance in the larger Star Wars lore, I'll lose my entire mind.

Maul and Ezra are searching for answers to questions they have and they find out this episode that the answer is the same for both of their questions:
Spoiler: show
Maul wants to know if obi wan is still alive, and Ezra wants to know how to beat the sith. They discover obi wan is alive on a planet with two Suns, so the race is on to get to him first

Oh, got it. Interesting. Who's he learning under? I thought all the Jedi were wiped out except Obi-Wan and Yoda.

He's learning under Kanan. Who used to be dark side (I think?) but Ezra is totally teetering and could go either way and will probably end up doing dark side under Maul and dying.

Kanan is teaching him now but he wants to study with Maul? Or does Ezra dislike Maul right now but there are hints that he could fall to the dark side and learn under him?

Yeah the latter

Gotcha. So this vision they both have or whatever... do they have it at the same time? Are they together?

I don't think Kanan was dark side, he just rejected the Jedi and force for a while, then came back. But I could be wrong

They combined a sith Holocron and a Jedi Holocron and had some partial visions before Ezra took them apart. They got the answer through some spirits in this episode

Oh right! The Inquisitors. Those guys looked cool. I remember there was speculation that they would be in The Force Awakens at one point and/or that Snoke is/was one of them.

I'm really anxious to see what happens with everyone on rebels given they are about two years before ANH right now. With the Ghost possibly being in R1, they may be giving the rebels writers an endgame?

I'm sure of it. I think the endgame was basically outlined before the first episode of the series aired. All the stuff I've heard/read from those in the know, it seems like all of this was pretty carefully discussed/decided way back. They want the mythology to be accurate and line up perfectly.

Right but we don't know for sure that there aren't other Jedi in the galaxy during ANH, right? Just that that Jedi were "all but wiped out". That could be interpreted a few ways

Absolutely. I've often thought of that even before the prequels, I wondered about that.

Wasn't it so he could pretty much hide or was he actually mad at the order?
