And like ive said, part of what I enjoy about Rebels is I legitimately dont know where these characters are going to go. Clone Wars principals are all pretty much predetermined.
The only main reason I kept with clone wars was I liked Ahsoka's story. On a smaller scale, Grievous and Plo Koon

There's tons of great stuff in clone wars. Does take a while to get there.
The whole arc about fives and the implants is great.

Could you make the argument that she is the most independently strong woman in the star wars universe?

Finished up Season One. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to Season Two. I've heard such great things about it, especially the final few episodes.

This thing is really good.

Make sure you have time to watch all of it. It's, like, way long.

Seems like it's a pretty standard 22 episode season. But, yeah, I'll watch all of it. I was surprised how short S1 was.

Overall I really like this show, but I feel there is a lot of filler to get to the payoff. For example, the premiere is really strong, then it's followed by 3 or 4 "meh" episodes, then another strong one, back to meh, then it normally has ended well with the finales. I supposed most shows that have 20+ episodes per season fall victim to this, but I really feel there is just more filler in this than there needs to be. The strong episodes though are really good and do a great job of reminding me why I loved SW in the first place. It also "feels" like SW more so than the prequels or Clone Wars ever did, which is a big plus.

That's the trade off though. One for the kids one for the middle aged Star Wars sweeties.
Rebels main job is to cultivate a whole new generation of Star Wars fans.

There's a million kids that will grow up and they're already here, that Rebels is their Star Wars and they're not too bothered about the films.
