Totally forgot about William Tyler's "Modern Country." Might bump Bon Iver out of my top 5.

Excellent! The end of that Meat Thump set (16 min in) has a most ragged cover of Dead Flowers.

I listened to the Rosali album a few times when it was posted in the "Albums of 2016" thread.
I forgot about it, it is pretty great.

1. Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
2. Bon Iver - 22, A Million
3. Eric Bachmann - Eric Bachmann
4. Iggy Pop - Post Pop Depression
5. David Bowie - Blackstar

I need more time with the Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen albums. I haven't listened to any bands that are new to me lately, so I think SNC's list might be a place to start.

That Leonard Cohen album...It's not bad, not even close. But it's a little underwhelming for his last record.
Im sorry he didnt plan on living longer to make a better record for you before he did

The writing isn't very strong, and that's always been among his chief virtues. Thankfully it has some gravitas to make up the difference.
