While Exile is my favorite record of all time, I don't think it's perfect. Pretty close, as is Blood on the Tracks.

I really want to put random access memories in here, there's two songs on it that really stop it being perfect though.

Bummer.

Did I really go through 10 pages of this thread and not a single person mentioned Appetite For Destruction? For a straight up hard rock album that's about as perfect as it gets. There are better albums, but I don't believe that was the point of the thread was it?

I agree on Anything Goes but Think About You is pretty great.

Sticky Fingers outdoes Exile for me. Pretty much near on perfect.

My top 2 albums of all time.

I was also going to suggest:

Sleater-Kinney - The Woods
Soundgarden - Superunknown
The Beatles - Revolver
Paul Simon - Graceland
Built To Spill - Perfect From Now On
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Radiohead - OK Computer
Radiohead - Kid A
I listened to the 25th Anniversary edition last night and it reminded me how good the album is.

Birds of Fire by Mahavishnu Orchestra

As if God himself had descended from the heavens to bestow upon us the most perfect album of all time. Never to be duplicated for all of eternity.

I rarely listen to Sticky Fingers without listening to Exile (and vise versa). I always feel like rolling right on through. And if I'm really in a Stones mood (which how can you not be after listening to those two records) I pop into Let it Bleed next.
