no idea Tarkin wasn't a real. I wasn't sure that Leia would turn around at the end and show her face but I thought she looked good. I didn't expect it to lead right in to A New Hope. The whole movie had that WWII suicide mission feel. I figured everyone would die but Jyn so that was a surprise. I really liked Chirrut and Baze and the K-2SO. Cassian and the defector pilot were fine. I figured Saw was going to be part of the team. Effects and space battles were really good. Vader was fantastic. Liked it.

Sooooo many people are saying that about Tarkin. It's only Star Wars fans saying otherwise.

Hope you liked it. (It's no force awakens tho)

I liked it very much. I guess Tarkin isn't a character that stuck in casual viewers heads especially if they haven't watched the originals since childhood.

I thought Tarkin was real with possibly some CGI added. They did a fantastic job with him.

that was the finish that Dark Knight Rises teased us with and didn't have the balls to see through. I loved Rogue One ending the way that it did

one of many problems I had with the film. ZERO likable characters. couldn't have cared less about any of them and their motivations.

not trying to be dramatic...but first movie in some time that I constantly started to nod off at.

could have walked in the theatre within the last 10 minutes of the film and watched the only scene I enjoyed and not missed anything up to that point.

I dunno, there was something still off about his mouth when speaking and the audio seemed off especially compared to a real person like Krennic when they have a back and forth

My wife didn't know who Tarkin was / his importance / that Peter Cushing has been dead for more than twenty years, but when we walked out she said: "His face was pretty busted. He reminded me of the baby in Twilight."

Nobody has said the main thing.

Tarkins eyes were blue. Ice blue.

Apart from that i can rock it. They fucking nailed it with him and Leia. Fuck the graphics look at the moment for fucks sake.

I didn't occur to me until a moment right before Baze died and he was looking at Chirrut body and it felt more significant than just that's my dead buddy over there.

Really? No props for Chirrut, Baze, and K2SO? These were fun characters.

Unless there are some supplementary materials that point to a deeper relationship I'd go with your interpretation. Its just when B asked the question there was just that one moment that I thought might hint at something more. Kind of a stretch.

This is the first growing pain. Star Wars is going in a new direction with this and follow on standalones.

We're gonna have to adapt. And enjoy as much as we can I guess.

There's next to no fan service nods of import they can put in a Han movie.
this was a cool movie, but can't compare to the original trilogy or even TFA on its own. it only works as a companion piece to ANH; tying it directly to that was a shrewd move for the first star wars spin off movie.
