Official Vault Releases

Post by doone »

What are they? I have
1992-01-17 Seattle - Moore Theater as VS001
1994-04-12 Boston - Orpheum as VS002
1998-09-19 Washington DC - Constitution Hall as VS003

so where do 1993-11-30 Las Vegas and 1995-01-14 Washington fit into the scheme?

The Orpheum show isn't a vault release. Vault 2 is the Vic Theater show.

The 1995 DC show was never supposed to be released. Wasn't it leaked by accident when they were testing a distribution method for potential vault releases?

I thought about putting it in the Live forum but when I searched "vault releases" all the results came up in the Pearl Jam forum so...

what's the date for the Vic theater show, if you don't mind?

oh and what would the Boston Orpheum show be classified as then? wasn't it official?

The Orpheum show was official but it wasn't released on its own. It was part of the VS/Vitalogy reissue.

Two years ago:

==============

I consider '1993 11 30 Las Vegas NV', the first Vault show. I downloaded an official application from Pearl Jam site to later download shows. The first song they had available was Rats from 1994 04 12 Boston MA, I downloaded it on MP3 by free. Later they sold/offered Las Vegas show on MP3. The application had two sections, Vault shows and 2005 shows. At that time (2005-2006), they offered:

1. 1994 04 12 Boston MA - Just 'Rats' for free (MP3) BECOMES (2011 CD, LP) Live At The Orpheum Theater
2. 1993 11 30 Las Vegas NV - 'Vault section' (MP3)
3. 2005 08 29 Missoula MT - '2005 section', a warm-up show, it was an 'Official release to select people' (MP3)
4. 2005 shows were sold via the application (MP3)
5. 1995 01 14 Washington DC - Voters For Choice show, it was a gift via an upgraded version of the application (FLAC, Basecamp)
6. 2006 shows were sold via the application (FLAC, Basecamp)

I think the 'Vault' Shows are:

1992 01 17 Seattle WA – (2011 CD) Vault #1, a PJ20 gift; (2021 LP, CD, digital) Vault #1 Reissued
1992 12 31 New York City NY – (2006 CD) Live In NYC 12-31-92, an 'Avocado' gift (Without Number)
1993 11 30 Las Vegas NV – (2005 MP3) The 'first' Vault release BECOMES (2015 LP, CD, digital) Vault #5
1993 12 08 Seattle WA - (2019 LP, CD, digital) Vault #9
1994 04 03 Atlanta GA - (1994 CD) Dissident Single (2020/12 MP3 gift, CD, digital) #10DAYSOFPJ (Vault Series)
1995 01 14 Washington DC – (2006 FLAC) A Basecamp gift (Without Number)
1995 07 11 Chicago IL - (2017 LP, CD, digital) Vault #7
1998 07 13 Inglewood CA - (2016 LP, CD, digital) Vault #6
1998 09 19 Washington DC - (2013 LP, CD, digital) Vault #3
2000 05 10 Bellingham WA - (2014 LP, CD, digital) Vault #4
2005 08 29 Missoula MT - (2005 MP3) 'Official release to select people' BECOMES (2018 LP, CD, digital) Vault #8
2007 08 02 Chicago IL - (2012 CD, digital) Vault #2; (2022 LP) Vault #2 Reissued
2014 10 17 Moline IL - (2014 CD, digital) No Code Show BECOMES Vault #10 (Josh Evans) (2020/10 LP, 2021/08 CD)

Video Stream From The Vault (From Bootlegs Series, remixed by Josh Evans)
2010 06 25 London England - (2010 CD, digital) Original; (#5 2021/04 HD Video) Remixed
2014 10 17 Moline IL - (2014 CD, digital) Original; (#7 2021/08 HD Video, CD) Remixed
2016 04 29 Philadelphia PA - (2016 CD, digital) Original; (#2 2020/10 HD Video, CD) Remixed
2018 06 26 Rome Italy - (2018 CD, digital) Original; (#3 2020/12 HD Video, CD) Remixed
2018 08 08 Seattle WA - (2018 CD, digital) Original; (#1 2020/08 HD Video, CD) Remixed
2018 08 10 Seattle WA - (2018 CD, digital) Original; (#4 2021/02 HD Video, CD) Remixed
2018 08 13 Missoula MT - (2018 CD, digitla) Original; (#6 2021/06 HD Video, CD) Remixed

In my opinion, the Non-Vault shows are:

1992 03 16 Queens NY (MTV Unplugged) – (2009 DVD) Ten Reissue gift (2019 LP) RSD (2020 CD)
1992 09 20 Seattle WA (Drop In The Park) – (2009 MP3, LP) Ten Reissue gift

VS002 is Vic Theatre, not Boston.

Las Vegas was an MP3-only show from 2005.

DC '95 is an unreleased vault show that was obtained illicitly.

Is there any chance, someone would be willing to share the 98 Washington DC show? Or could tell me where I might find a torrent of said show? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If CC and LiR were leaked officially then couple with these shots it's not much to assume another Lost Dogs or Bootleg Series isn't far off. :luv:
