We've All Been Spelling "Wookiee" Incorrectly

Background: When I was a kid, I read something like 100 Star Wars novels; I watched the movies until my cassettes were blurry; and even though I've sort of grown out of it as an adult, I'm still pretty into Star Wars. But it was just the other day when I realized that "Wookiee" was spelled with two e's, not one.

With a quick search, I've found that most of us have been doing it wrong. Searching for "Wookiee" garners only 16 matches, while searching for "Wookie" yields 177. Mad props to spike for pointing out someone spelling it wrong in this post: http://forums.theskyiscrape.com/viewtop ... 78#p721978
