Ok, I'm like 6 episodes into this... Ahsoka is Anakin's apprentice? That's INSANE.

Yes it is but adds sooo much to both clone wars and Rebels storylines. Especially in season 2 of Rebels.

Actually I can't remember if the episodes of Ahsoka bringing the younglings to get their kyber crystals is on that list but you should watch them too. Think it's 2 episodes.

I love Clone Wars, so glad it exists. The 10 best episodes are among the best SW media ever put out.

However, I've never been able to get past the starting point premise of Anakin having an apprentice. That is just really implausible in the Jedi Order as it's been presented. Complete shoehorn, and I don't even hate Ahsoka as a character. But seriously, a few years after the Anakin we see in Attack of the Clones, he gets a fucking apprentice? No.

So, I watched the Red/Cody episode from the first season last night. Good episode. Very surprised at the use of the word "hell"'twice in it. Obviously, the show was not totally meant for kids. I enjoyed it. Don't know if that was their introduction, but knowing what comes later was pretty cool.

Also, is the "newsreel" voiceover at the beginning of every episode? It's like it's there instead of the opening crawl. If it is, I've decided it's pretty cool and keeping with the feeling that the Clone Wars being analogous to WWII and the civil war being Vietnam.

It's at the beginning of every episode. Works really well as a crawl and update especially the way the episodes jump around a lot between storylines

Agreed. It basically tells you "HEY ITS AN ANAKIN EPISODE!"

Seriously though, the Krell episodes were incredible.

Is that the shorts? If so, I've got all those on DVD, but I've never watched them.

Only in one or twice episodes. He's trained by Anakin in guerrilla warfare.
